This is the third vehicle I’ve bought with Richard Beeton.  I’ve always found Richard to be friendly and knowledgeable thought car buying process and I’m happy to say, I call him a friend. 

When I contacted him, I was reaching out on my mother in law's behalf.  I was not in the market for a car but I knew Richard would be able to help her out.  A week later, we both had new cars!  I feel good about my purchase and I’m happy to have the extra life time warranty for peace of mind. Richard is a great guy to have on your team, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the letter, there are 2 individuals that helped with this purchase, both were outstanding. Brian Watkins listened when I explained what I wanted and showed me exactly what I asked for. We purchased the car that we test drove and were in and out of the dealership in under 2 hours.

Ryan Smith was kind enough to answer some questions we had about the car. I am sure the you know what an asset Ryan is, having been a technician myself I think he is the best tech I have ever been around.

Good Afternoon,

I did have an excellent experience buying my Honda Civic.  Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and helpful - I came several times. Derek Chapman was the one who showed me the cars in the price range I was interested in. He was very low key - no pressure, which I appreciated.  I'm sorry, I don't recall their names, but the man who helped me finance a loan, and the man who helped me find appropriate insurance were indeed helpful and I felt they were working in my best interests.  

I happened to get a scratch on my car handle the next day and returned for some touch up paint.  The guy in the parts department was also very helpful showing me how to use the paint pen. 

I was actually motivated to write this due to the unpleasant experience I had with a dealership down the road.  I was at the point of buying from them, when the salesgirl brought over one of the men who must have been involved in the actual sale.  The car was priced at $16,000.  He lowered the price to $13,000, then ended with $11,000. When I hesitated, he became belligerent and mean. He demanded to know why he had taken the time to print off the car information and wasted so much of his time - at that point I excused myself and left.

You have a great team.  There is nothing frenetic and high pressuring in their rapport with customers.  It makes a huge difference in the "feel" of the place.

Hi Roger,

    I wanted to share with you my wonderful experience at Scholfield Honda.  I shopped several dealerships in town starting with Scholfield Honda.  My daughter had a wonderful experience at Scholfield Honda with her purchase of a Honda Civic two years ago.  I came to experience this for myself.  The first day that I shopped, I was unable to find the perfect car for my family.  However, Jeff White was very patient with me as I test drove several vehicles.  Inventory was low at that time.  I checked out a few other dealerships, including ____.  I shopped every evening for several days until the dealerships closed and was becoming frustrated.  Jeff White contacted me later in the week and said that a few more vehicles had come in that I may like and stopped back in again after work.  Again, I test drove several vehicles.  The last vehicle that I drove was a 2013 Accord.  It seemed like a great car for my daily commutes.  I came back Friday evening to purchase the Accord.   

    I must say that working with Jeff White was wonderful.  He was very patient and helpful.  He worked with me to find that perfect vehicle.  He always came out and greeted me with a smile and a wonderful attitude.  I did not feel pressured with the car buying process and that meant a lot to me.  I was even pleased with Drew in the finance dept. which says a lot about your dealership.

    My family and I were able to still take our family vacation the day after my vehicle purchase.  The Accord exceeded all expectations that we had.  It handled very well and was very economical.  I have already made plans to come back to Scholfield Honda for my next vehicle purchase in several years due to my great experience here.

 Easy and low key    Fred  --  April 13, 2017

Thanks for your nice note about my recent purchase of a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.  I looked at it on Monday and owned it on Friday.  This was an easy and low key transaction, that was smooth from start to finish.  Everyone I met at your dealership had a smile for me and seemed genuinely glad I was there.

In particular, I want to single out Greg Cummings.  He was always professional and friendly.  No high pressure tactics or pushiness from him.   He was knowledgeable and went out of his way to answer all the e-mails that I pestered him with.  He also made sure I understood how all the tech in my new ride worked.  He once asked me if I was having fun buying the car.  I told him I was.  His reply was, "If you're not having fun, you either have the wrong dealership, or the wrong salesman."  Apparently I had neither.

I can't say, 'I love my new Scholfield Honda!' but I certainly can say that 'I love my new Scholfield car!

Dear Mr. Schofield:

I recently purchased a previously owned CRV from your dealership.  I am 67 and over the course of my life I've bought a number of cars, both new and used.  The experience at Scholfield Honda was one of the best I've had. Brandon Horton, in particular, was very helpful.  I had run the numbers and had decided what I could afford to pay.  The vehicle I wanted came in over that amount by just a few dollars.  Instead of trying to persuade me to move my bottom line, he asked to see my calculations.  It turns out, I didn't realize that sales tax is charged only on the difference between the trade-in and the purchase.  I was only a few dollars away from where I wanted to be and plugging in the new numbers put me where I wanted to be.

Brad's attitude was let's see if we can make it work.  If we can, great, if not then that is how it goes and maybe we can do business next time.  There was no pressure, instead, he seemed genuinely interested in making the experience as good as possible.  I have literally walked out of other dealerships here in Wichita because of the games they play and the 'hard sell' attitude of the sales staff.  Two years ago I had shopped at Scholfield but decided not to buy there because I found a car at another dealer with less mileage.  However, I remembered Brandon so when I wanted to trade I called him.  Amazingly, he remembered me from 2 years ago!  Really, the guy is gold!   Enjoy the spring!

I just wanted to let you know about our great experience with Ron Davis last weekend when we purchased a vehicle. This is the second time within 6 months that we have been to Scholfield and left with a vehicle we were very happy with. We dealt with Ron both times. He was great! Very patient with us. I contacted a long-time friend Chris Kurth to set up a meeting to see some cars we had been looking at online. Chris greeted us at the agreed to time and told us that Tyler would help us....Tyler did a great job showing us the cars we had been looking at, and my wife was a little let down due to how happy she had been with her previous car. Tyler then showed us the Nissan Altima we later purchased. She was in love with it. Throughout the remaining of the purchase Chris and Tyler both helped us like a well-oiled machine. Answering all questions and making us feel very comfortable with the purchase. During the test ride we noticed the heated seats did not warm up. This was taken care of by a simple couple of hours in the service department. I felt compelled to let you know you have an awesome sales team in these two.

I just wanted you to know that I am a highway patrolman who lives in McPherson, Kansas. I have an Odyssey Van and I drive all the way to Wichita to have it serviced. To say I am an "anal" person would be an understatement to some. Even though you offer the complimentary car washes, NO ONE washes my vehicle but me. I'm that particular. On my first visit, I asked to speak to a technician and I was introduced to one of your shop foremen, Ryan Smith, (I hope he retires there!) and I knew after talking to him at length that I was going to establish a lifetime relationship with your dealership or at least as long as I owned my Honda. Matt Caton is also very knowledgeable and helpful. My second visit in July impressed me even more. Everyone there seems to know somehow how particular I am but they don't treat me like I'm a weirdo about it. When I came to pick up my vehicle I noticed it was parked way out back, all by itself, with no other vehicles within yards of it. I know most people only want to complain, but I want to commend you on Ryan, Matt and your customer relations manager Jason Shire, who was also quite pleasant.


The people working at Scholfield were very helpful. Mike Baker did a great job helping us find a vehicle. We were in the unfortunate position of having our 2003 Honda Civic break down while traveling back home to Texas. The last thing we thought of was buying a car. I still can't believe that we were able to find such a good vehicle at such a good price. Mike really helped us out by giving us enough time to think about the decision, providing us with a car to use to get around the area for the day, showing us the car fax report, and making sure the car was completely ready so we could leave and get back to Texas. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I just wanted to let you know about something that happened at Scholfield Honda yesterday. I had my car in for an oil change and when I arrived for my appointment I was having a very low blood sugar event. I mentioned that to Deb Carson and she immediately sat me down and fed me a peanut butter sandwich and an apple. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the care and concern that was given to me. Deb went over and above my customer service expectations!!

I have had the pleasure of being a part of seven car purchases from Scholfield including four Honda's that I currently own. I appreciate the customer service that your dealership always provides, and I look forward to continuing this relationship in the future. I also had the pleasure of meeting your Mom yesterday.....she was very nice!! Be sure and pass along my thanks again to Deb.


I wanted to express my thanks for the great experience I had Tuesday with the Service Department. Since my wife is traveling to South Carolina next week I brought her car in for a checkup and to look over the air conditioner. A warm reception when I dropped off the car, prompt transportation so I could get to work, and an informative phone call letting me know that no issues had been found and her car was ready for pick up. All this service was provide at no change. Scholfield Honda making sure my wife would be safe on the road. Your Service Department is one of the reasons we have two Scholfield Hondas.

May 30th, I purchased a used 2012 Mustang from you. The reason for this email is to comment on what a wonderful buying experience this was. Your salesperson, Tyler Alderman did a great job of getting me all the information I asked for, was not pushy, was knowledgable about the car, walked me thru the actual purchase process to get me back on the road to avoid the stormy weather, just did everything right in my opinion. He was a pleasure to visit with, even the fact that I am 65 didn't affect his ability to connect with me. I have visited around 10 different dealerships in the last few months, and purchased 2 cars, and my experience with Schofield was the best of all.
